Greg
Phillips - Palm Bay
Greg Phillips was on a meteoric rise to stardom in the '70's and
80's as a master of magic tricks and sleight-of-hand. He created a
highly entertaining night club act that lead to performances on
MTV, Show-Time, HBO and Comedy Central. He worked as an opening
act for many Hollywood stars like Jerry Seinfeld and Robin
Williams. But on the rise to the stardom, Greg fell to the drug
and alcoholic lifestyle that often accompanies a fast paced life
of an entertainer. Then, his flashy career came to an abrupt halt.
One night during a club performance, Greg fell off stage and
seriously injured his neck. During the healing months that
followed, Greg realized an emptiness, and a longed for something
more. Greg's wife, Chris, continued to pray for him during this
hard time and Greg came to understand the love of Jesus as his
personal savior.
When Greg returned to the limelight, the stage no longer held the
same thrill or fulfillment as before.
Prayerfully, Greg and Chris searched for a more meaningful
lifestyle. The Lord began to birth His vision in their hearts to
minister to children, reunite families, and to stand firm in the
midst of today's evil.
Over the past fifteen years Greg and his family have ministered
around the country fulfilling this vision.
In the mid '90s when world wide renewal broke out, the Lord used
Greg to spark a cross county revival. It started when Greg was
co-hosting The Morning Show at the Christian FM radio station in
Vero Beach. Several Melbourne area churches had planned services
with renewal Pastor Randy Clark and the Lord prompted Greg to
interview Randy on the radio. Greg pitched the idea to the station
management, but schedule conflicts got in the way. Finally, the
plan fell into place. On Friday morning, January 6, 1995, during
the interview, the Spirit of the Lord fell and incredible things
began to happen. People flocked to the radio station and Greg
prayed for hundreds. That day, the Lord saved, healed and renewed
hearts, including Greg's. Since then, Greg has ministered at
children's conference and revival meetings from North Dakota to
Haiti. Including, meeting and sharing with NFL star Reggie White.
As a full-time Children's Pastor, Greg has seen the manifest
presence of the Lord move mightily through young warriors. A deaf
boy was healed and one little girl had a blind eye restored.
Children 3, 4, and 5 years old speak of their dreams and visions!
Greg loves to pray for healing and deliverance and to see the
Lord's power. Most recently, the Lord has anointed Greg to
minister prophetically.
The message the Lord brings through Greg and Chris deals with
real, every day problems. Fears and triumphs. Through the use of
slight-of-hand, puppets, music, colorful props, chalk-talk
messages, stories and good old fashioned Holy Spirit preaching,
the Lord reveals Biblical truth and Christian ideals. Greg
strongly believes that while he utilizes many tools to "win
the right to be heard," the goal is not to entertain, but to
train and edify.
Greg's experience at schools, churches, corporate events, day-care
centers, private functions, civic groups, trade shows, and
theaters has given him an ability to relate to all audiences, all
ages. His performances are crisp, educational, and entertaining,
but most of all F-UN-BELIEVABLE.
